📥 Import a question set — paste a whole batch

Paste your questions — each question on its own line, its options below it, and a * before the correct answer makes it a scored quiz. Separate questions with a blank line or number them (1. 2. 3.). Add an optional Explanation: line to teach the “why” — it shows in the practice review.

📄 Already have it in a file? Upload a PDF, Word or PowerPoint and StatMD pulls the questions out (including Answer: B keys) for you to review.

Topic — names this session so its questions file under it (optional)

Add question — or add one at a time; click to expand

Question type

Question

📋 Case scenario — optional clinical vignette shown above the question

Keep this scenario for the next question (build a multi-question case)

Options

Topic — optional tag for per-topic analytics, e.g. “Antibiotics” Explanation — the “why”, shown on the screen when you reveal the answer (optional) Hold results until I reveal — collect answers without showing the live bars (quizzes already do this)

Questions

No questions yet — add one above.

Session options — roll number, teams, confidence & auto-reveal

Require roll number / ID to join (feeds the gradebook) Team mode (students pick a team) Confidence marking (MCQs: students tag how sure they are; report shows calibration) 🛡 Proctor — warn on tab-switch (live exams: students who leave the quiz tab are warned and counted; you see it live + in the CSV) ⏱ Auto-reveal the answer when the timer ends (live quizzes — off = you click “Reveal answer” yourself)

…then wait before showing it (a grace pause after time’s up)

🔀 Shuffle answer options — show MCQ options in a different order for each student (or group) so neighbours can’t copy · works live & self-paced Competency — optional CBME/NMC code for the competency report, e.g. “PH1.1” · applies to every question in this session

📊 Results & exports — leaderboard, CSV, report, paper & certificates
